Prevention & Reconnection Service: Prevention & Reconnection services are for 16-25 year olds. You can access a staff member trained in housing advice and support for young people to:
• ensure you are in the best location for you where you have the most local connections
• secure accommodation if you are rough sleeping
• to look at move on options if you are in temporary or vulnerable accommodation, or
• to discuss issues which may be affecting your accommodation.
Please call the Gap to speak to the Prevention & Reconnection worker to arrange
a 1:1 appointment.

What we do
Alcohol Service: Alcohol specific services are for 16-25 year olds. You can access a staff member trained in substance abuse and misuse and alcohol in particular to:
• find out more
• get help with your levels of drinking
• be referred on to other help, or
• to just come and chat about what its like for you.
What is on offer is 1:1 counselling appointments around alcohol. This would generally be for 12 sessions, but following a review could be extended. Sessions would normally be arranged weekly and take place at The Gap premises.
